A native of the West, I grew up on the sunny California coast and in New England.   After earning a college degree in Psychology, I spent over a decade working in corporate marketing at AT&T.  I subsequently became a third generation Realtor/Broker, opening my own real estate brokerage in the beach town of  Encinitas, California. 
Specializing in marketing luxury homes and vacant land subdivisions in northern San Diego County, I also sold investment properties, structured 1031 exchanges, brokered mortgage loans, and provided property management services for my clients, and served on both the Planning Commission and the Town Council. 
Relocating to Bend, Oregon.  I continued selling real estate, and co-founded the Friends of the Huntington Trail, an environmental group formed to protect a portion of the Oregon Trail. While in Bend, I enjoyed a ranch lifestyle, raising llamas, and also pursued a long term goal, earning two Master degrees.  
After vacationing on Orcas Island, I moved here, to the idyllic San Juan Islands, obtaining my Washington real estate license and my financial planning designation, Accredited Wealth Management Advisor.
